Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Beach o’Bassets Lovers…I was thinking the other day that I have not been on YouTube that much.  I really cannot figure out why.  I guess anymore you have to wade through all of the advertisements of losers selling puppies and the endless commercials.  Oh howl times have changed.

It certainly was worth it to bring you this Friday Find from Australia where the hounds run free and the popsicles are a plenty!

With the end of our summer right around the corner and our days of beach vacations soon a memory let’s enjoy Moose, Twiggy & George!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Allowance Lovers…Grandma has been feeling a bit under the weather for a few days and Daisy Lynn is missing some much needed belly rubs!

She decided to cash in her entire allowance of 5 bucks and have me get Grandma some flowers from the “manager’s specials” section at Krogers!!!

What a good little grand-hound!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and message lovers.  I guess I should have said, Chaps sent us all a message from the rainbow bridge via facebook.  Let me explain.  Over the weekend I have been on facebook following 2 of my friends that live in Japan.  They were on vacation seeing different interesting places around Japan.  They had Hal the basset hound with them.  I adore Hal and the girls.

This is Kaz, Mari and Hal.

I kept commenting that I wished I was on the trip and howl much fun it would be.  The girls kept posting their pictures and then last night I saw this one.

It hit me immediately.  Chaps looking at me, the way he always looked at me, with adoration which was mutual, his head resting on the cloud.

I asked Kaz to tell me more about the picture but she has not gotten back to me yet.  The Google translation from her comment said,

They had been previously commenting that the weather was bad and where was the sun?  This comment referred to briefly seeing the sun, (little did they know it was my son!)

I printed out the picture in black and white and lightly traced out what I saw.  I want to give the residents a closer look.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Purple Hosta Lovers…We have the most beautiful Hostas blooming up our walkway.  I had to share with the residents.

Daisy Lynn was not too happy about it.

She was not willing to wait for her walk and started to get a bit miffed!

You can see her lip starting to break into a howl.

I pushed my luck and tried for one more purple perfection….

First off Mommy takes me for a birthday walk!

When we got home Mommy made me my favorite birthday boy treats!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Bumper Alessandro Lovers…

I held a meeting today with his royal majesty to discuss howl he is getting along after winning a month in this years Sr. Hounds Abound calendar.

As you can see, he is doing bassetabulous.  Our very own Bumper will be 12 years old in February, along with his sister Abby seated in her throne behind me.

Bumper wants all the residents to vote for Colby Chaps Mead!!!
