When I was in college a long time ago, my mom let me talk on the phone to our basset hound “Lovable”. She never let me talk to him on the phone again, because he laid on my bed and cried for days (when he wasn’t wandering the house looking for me). Hearing my voice and not being able to find me was too painful for him and my mom.
One Mom, How sad that must have been for poor Loveable. And what a beautiful name for a Basset!!!
