Jethro Doyle had a surgical procedure today and is on his way home:)
UPDATE – JETHRO IS DOING WELL AND EVEN HAD HIS DINNER! Good Boyfriend!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Jethro Doyle Lovers. Jethro has been a bassethoundtown resident since about 2007 I believe??? Cindy, am I right about that?
Well, our boy has not been feeling too well and had some blood in his stool. So, himz Mommy Cindy took him to the vet and they did a rectal examination and found a mass on his rectum. It was removed and being sent off for analysis but everything went great.
Here he is on his way this morning with an ice storm looming large in TX.
Isn’t that a dapper dandy looking coat? I love it! They were fortunate and missed the ice storm.
Cindy keep us posted on howl himz is doing.
I call Jethro my boyfriend…
More loving boyfriends later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB making sure they watched over himz this morning…)
Glad to hear he is doing good!! Love his coat. Ollie has a blue one like that but he won’t wear it!! Stay warm everyone!!
Boyfriend is doing better than I thought. When they brought him out he was more perky than I expected and was able to walk out to the car. It started sleeting when I got to the vets office and they were closing at 1:00 so I wanted to make sure I got there before they closed so Jethro didn’t have to stay over night. He would have been very upset having to stay. We have meds to take for a while and he’s resting comfortably on a soft pallet in the living room. He has teeth issues too so soft food is on the menu for a few days. Thanks for thinking about The Boyfriend!
And yes Cat! 2007 sounds about right. Although I think I found your blog before then, I just didn’t comment for a while.
Oh, thanks for the boyfriend update Cindy. I sure bet he was glad to that procedure over with. I agree with you that it is always better when they can come home and get round the clock attention. Of course, sometimes it is just not possible. So glad the weather held out for you guys. Keep us posted… and give boyfriend a kiss…Love…girlfriend
I am so glad that he is doing well. Bumper and Abby send lots so slobber and drool!
Sweet boy! I am sure his mommy is hovering over him nonstop. I hope he has an easy and fast recovery. Hugs and kisses to everyone.
Slinging lots of drool
Oh poor Jethro. We love Jethro around here! Showed this to Hannah, Cindy and she said to give Jethro an extra hug for her.
You tell Hannah that Jethro got that hug and it made him feel a lot better.
