Oh My…howl Daisy Lynn cries…
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and howling lovers…Yes, I love a great basset hound howl but not like this! I had to run a few errands today and Grandma stayed home. Since I was only going to be gone for a short time I decided to leave Daisy Lynn out and about and Grandma was baby sitting via the indoor video cameras. Of course I had access as well via my Iphone.
Let the howling begin.
First on her couch arm…
Then on the worry bed…More non-stop howling…
Then, as Chaps before her she waited by the window and saw me drive down the street…
Grandma even captured me coming in the door! Look at Daisy Lynn grabbing my ankle!
Oh poor Daisy Lynn she was just howling to get her pack back in order. She does absolutely fine in her cage when we leave for longer periods. She naps the entire time. We check in on that camera about every 20 minutes.
Special thanks to Grandma for do the test monitoring and capturing the images.
More taking it one howl at a time later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB knowing that the worry bed is the answer…)
I had no idea the new Mayor was so dramatic. 😉 It’s funny seeing her on the arm of the couch.
Looks like she needs to learn to put away her toys?
Poor Daisy Lynn! This was out of the norm. I bet if you put her in her crate she would have been fine. Isn’t it funny how they are such creatures of habit? But if you’d rather leave her out then this is the best thing. Short trips to let her get used to it. I can’t believe you trusted her puppy self!
I think Mayor Daisy was very worried about you.
POOOOR Baby, she is sooooooooo neglected!! I’m sure she got a big treat when you got settled in!!
One Mom do you remember that song back when we were kids, it was on TV. Maybe it was a local show. Put your toys away, don’t delay, help your Mommy have a happy day. OK, had to go look. It was the Uncle Al show and Captain Wendy would sing that song. I now sing it to Daisy Lynn but she thinks I am just being funny. hehehehe.
Cat – nope, that must have been a Kentucky show. We had Romper Room and Buck-A-Roo Rodeo.
Does the song help the Mayor clean up her toys?
Uncle Al was a local show in Cincinnati. I think Daisy has separation anxiety like Abby does when you leave. I know that Abby is always waiting by the door or window when I come home – the big guy is usually sleeping. She is just very attached to her mommy. You must have been at Kroger when you were gone! If I had seen you instead of the BHV in the parking lot we could have monitored her together! Haha
Aaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooo… We heard you all the way here in Highland Heights! xoxo from, Nosey. And Sam the Dog.
