Daisy Lynn the Great Pyreneeses and deer poop!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Great Pyreneeses lovers…One Mom we know you are one of both! So, if you see 2 Great Pyrenees are they Great Pyreneeses? Whatever…we did and they were majestic!
Of course this picture does not do them justice. Things moved too quickly for me to get a better shot as I was struggling to get myself off the ground the woman warned us that her male was not friendly. So, we moved off to the left where Daisy Lynn quickly began to roll in deer poop! GREAT!
Someone was in store for a bath when we got home!
Of course I did not get a picture. I feared for my IPhones life!
So I offer this…
From the late great Evelyn Leavens…
Daisy Lynn was not pleased…
More loving big white fluffy dogs and fluffy clouds of soap later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB always smelling sweet!)
Yes, I am definitely a lover of both the basset and Great Pyrenees. If I had 2 white fluffies they would still be “Pyrenees” (kind of like scissors). Mabel would love Mayor Daisy Lynn – I know she considers Sophie one of her sheep that she must protect.
Glad she warned you about the male! Even from a distance, they look beautiful. Poor Daisy Lynn. She was just trying to get her perfume on. Puppy Le Pew!
OM – I knew you would know the answer, being a teacher. Thanks for that! We would all be lucky to be protected by Mabel. Isn’t it funny that the last time we went to that park we met the Collie and this time the Great Pyrenees???? We must have a strong connection at that place. It’s called Woodland Mound and it has sacred Indian burial grounds which are secret. They say it is unlikely that you will see the burial ground. The mound is protected by being unmarked and hidden…
We love our Mabel and Sophie – they are an interesting pair of sisters!
Maybe next time you go to the park you’ll meet a Sussex Spaniel like our sweet Nell … we sure do miss her. Hannah was talking about Nell today and wondered if she was ok and if Mayor Chaps was still taking care of her. I assured her that he was.
Once we get our new desk installed in the classroom, I will send you a photo of Mayor Chaps in his new spot watching over Hannah’s school work.
