Today was a fall phenomena!!!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and phenomena lovers. If it is possible to have a peak day for color in bassethoundtown it was most likely today. So…Grandma, Daisy Lynn and I took off to find fall foliage!
And find it we did. We all absolutely love going back to our local parks for every season. It is like they are all putting on different art shows…
These turtles are enjoying the art show as well! We thought they were Mom and daughter…
We love this park. It is so hidden and tucked away.
We discovered Alexandria Community Park back in 2009 with Chaps.
It was fitting that we went back today on his birthday.
Daisy Lynn has been doing really well as the Mayor of bassethoundtown.
Then we pushed on to the neighborhood cemetery…
To us, cemeteries are just like parks. We love exploring them.
This was our pick tree of the day…
I wonder howl old it is? Evergreen cemetery is cira 1827. It is magnificent.
This was a perfect place for a glass of wine to wind up our fall phenomena…
More loving pick day of the fall later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB celebrating a very special rainbow birthday…)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR CHAPS – always in my heart, never forgotten!
What a beautiful park! I always find old cemeteries full of history. Love your photos. Daisy Lynn is doing a fine job as Mayor. 🙂
Thanks for sharing your pretty fall day with us. I love all the pictures, but I think the last one is my favorite. Your mom and Mayor Daisy Lynn look so beautiful. The Mayor looks very much a grown-up hound now … she is magnificent.
A special birthday wish to Mayor Chaps at the Bridge.
Very beautiful!
Beautiful day and beautiful tree! Like the idea of drinking wine in the cemetery!
Cat,
You should be a professional photographer. I don’t think I have ever seen a bad photograph from you. You should enter some contests.
Daisy Lynn has become a fantastic Mayor! We enjoy all of her projects. You sure do have a beautiful fall. Wish we had that color down here. Enjoy!
