Day in the life of Jane, the 11 year old basset hound – Youtube finds of the day!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Jane Lovers. I thought I would share these little clips of Jane. I can’t figure out where they are from by the language.
First Jane takes a walk. I adore her stroller at the end. What a great idea for an aging hound!
Then this video reminds me of my precious Lily. Grandma will think so too. Lily was relentless about making sure your hand was always on her body. Grandma even wanted to invent a petting machine that she could stand in but we all know it would not be the same! hehehehe
More loving Sunday Morning Youtubes later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB with Lily getting petted by Grandpa!)
Yes she was such a sweet girl and wanted lots of petting.
I love the stroller!!
Our Maxine was like that – always wanted someone’s hand on her.
Very sweet videos. The first one also made me think of Bumper. I love that the kid had already learned to pick up the back end of a hound and give a little boost.
I love that stroller as well, but I have to say this is one indulged hound.
I don’t think a petting machine would interest a Basset, they love human contact; but, an automatic treat machine would be most welcome.
Cookie is very needy like Jane, she always does the hand bump if you stop touching her. Ruby Lu would pat my foot with her paw when she wanted attention. That behavior started when she was a puppy and wanted to be on my lap to take a nap.
Jane is just precious! Ozzie does the poke with his nose. He pokes whatever part of my body he can reach until I pet him or just put my hand on him anywhere. Harriet will lift my hand up with her nose. They are so intellegent.
