Fire! Finally…and the Mayor is pleased!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Fireplace lovers…I finally have fire! It has been about 2 years since I had our gas fireplaces working. It is never easy or inexpensive when these repairs are needed! Oh the JOY of home ownership! LOL
Daisy Lynn is totally loving the heat and the glow!
Our Mayor is very cold natured and this little fireplace is right up her alley!
First she warms this side!
Then this pretty side!
I guess the warmest place is next to Mom!

There is something about a fireplace & a dog. They love the heat on a cold night. Ollie is the same way. Also when we lost our power last November & it got so cold in the house he would walk over & look down at the heat register that he loved to be by too.
ALL sides of Daisy Lynn are pretty. Nothing is more warm or better than snuggling with Mom. We have a fire place that we can use fire logs or wood. We’ve always used wood. Rugs used to jump when the wood would shift in the fire. Poor boy. But it doesn’t bother Oz and Harriet. So, every chance I get, I fire it up! Love, love, love a fire. Enjoy!
I love to read by the fire and drink a hot toddy.
