It was a dark and rainy night. The wind was howling and the hound was unsettled!
Probably because I put her in Chaps old costume and it did not fit her very good!
But it fit me! Howl cool is it that this outfit is for dogs and humans?
It even glows in the dark!
Daisy Lynn was just glad she did not have to wear it!
And was very glad when the door bell quit ringing!
My BFF came over and we watched the travel channel and multiple episodes of Ghost Hunters.

But on the other paw…It is good for little girls who like to scare their Grandma! hehehe
I don’t think Mayor Daisy Lynn will be seeing many ghosts or goblins tonight if this weather keeps up!

I decided to put it on the floor so she could explore it up close and personal…
I opened the lid and gave her a few of her favorites. I think she really appreciated having time with the jar!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Walking Club Lovers…We had so much fun today. It may have been our record turn out of bassets and we counted 24! It was so much fun to see them pulling on their leads towards the shelter area.
Unfortunately, I was not able to take pictures because I was busy…so very busy!
This is Judy’s grand daughter making a sign to welcome all the hounds…You can see Daisy Lynn by the woman and her hound Hank. In the foreground, in the wiener outfit is Judy’s Abby and then Nosey.
Fortunately, Marsie (Nosey’s Mom) was at the walk and took lots and lots of pictures. I will post them as they come in.
I did get a picture of the recently rescued Dexter! I fell in love with his eyes. He fell in love with me because of the wieners I served him on a silver platter!
Daisy Lynn and I had plenty of free gift giveaways and this was one of them!
Who would not want a mini picture frame of their Mayor? I cannot imagine anyone not wanting to win one! hehehe
I know the hounds all loved moving around in a pack. You could see them smiling!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and leaf viewing lovers….We are home from our 2 day trip and we had so much fun. This was Daisy Lynn’s first overnight trip and she did wonderful…for the most part;)
We decided to re-visit Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.
We love this park and wanted to explore more of it.
All Kentucky State Resort Parks are dog friendly. This is the Dupont Lodge and we have stayed here before with Chaps and Emma. We just love it!
I think most bassethoundtown residents know that we love our parks it was a pleasure to come back to Cumberland Falls…
We are not trail walkers (due to bears in the area!) We stick to the main walkways.
And the main areas are plentiful!
And mesmerizing…
We explored for hours…
After we got back to our room Daisy Lynn was a bit chilly so Grandma wrapped her in her gully.
Grandma and I really wanted to go to the dining hall for dinner but Daisy Lynn would have none of it.
That’s OK, we ordered in and it was delicious…
We had to rest up for our next adventure…Daniel Boone National Forest!
This made us gasp! Beautiful and so peaceful.
Daisy Lynn also made many visitors gasp with joy! Her presence was overwhelming to many.
I cannot even count the smiles she gathered…

We had so much fun. Who knew this stunning place was in our path as we ventured home from our leaf viewing trip. I love Kentucky. It is just so pretty. Thanks for guessing!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Fall Leaf Viewing Lovers!!! Today Grandma and I viewed the weather for our upcoming trip and we determined that Daisy Lynn might need a coat. So we tried on Emma’s old coat first…
It is a bit too big for her so I don’t think it will work.
So I tried on the coat we bought for Lily and then Chaps wore it very well as well!
It even has a pocket so she can carry a small map of the leaf journey!
It was not a perfect fit but I think we can make it work if we need it!
She was not too thrilled with it but she will think different if there is frost on the ground!
