Grillin’ season is right around the corner! LIke TODAY!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Grillin’ season lovers! Grandma and I always talk about grillin’ out but we never do! Now we have a good reason to!
A few months ago a story came up in my google alerts from a couple in Georgia who make their own BBQ sauce and market it. So I tracked them down and asked them howl I could buy some!!!
Here is the totally tubular Mayor checking it out…
I never heard back from them but this box came in the mail yesterday! Can you believe it??? We were very excited and thrilled to receive 2 jars with the best label ever! Daisy Lynn went bonkers over the box and actually started pawing and chewing the sides. I figured their hound Fred must have been around when the box was packaged!
It is a fairly small operation right now. They are in a few Fresh Markets in Georgia. Here is their facebook page if you want to “like” them…
Interestingly enough fellow bassethoundtown resident, Judy, of Bumper and Abby, and I had a lunch scheduled at a very small hole in the wall BBQ joint down by the Ohio river.
We planned our next bassethoundtown walking club event.
Details to follow…
More lovin’ the sweet treats of Spring later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB eating rainbow cornbread that tastes like CAKE!)
Looks & sounds like great tasting bbq sauce. I doubt I will find it in my area. I am always trying different sauces & looking at the amount of sodium in them & sticking to the lowest. You would be surprised at how high the sodium is in some. Happy Grilling! We grill year round here. 🙂
We had a real “fine dining” experience at Eli’s in the east end of Cincinnati. I never thought I would order hot dogs when I went out to eat. My all beef dogs with slaw, BBQ sauce and the amazing crunchie pork topping – well it was just plain amazing!! We were lucky to get a seat inside the hole in a wall and the couple at our table were very nice. It was a great day and looking forward to the walk!!
