Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and this super blog title lovers…Wow – what a astronomical event to behold last night.  The internet was a wash in blood red moon pictures today as  you probably saw.  Viewing parties were being held in all nooks and crannies of the globe.  Even the Pope must have seen the lunar spectacle as he left the USA heading back to Vatican City.  It was really something!

My only problem was my viewing partner didn’t want to join me in the ladies room!  She stayed firmly behind my screen drape.  What???

No super moon for the super party pooper?

That’s alright more moon for me!

I even had my little telescope that my Mom and Dad bought me when I was about 10 or so.  I adore it and howl handy for last night!

I watched the total eclipse and then the clouds took over.  I had a chart that I was reviewing so I knew about what time to look for the blood moon.

Right on cue it popped it’s blood moon self out for a few seconds and I was there!  I saw it!  Then it tucked back in behind a cloud.

Like I said the internet was a wash in blood moon pics but this one was the cutest I found!
