Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Somerset Cream Lovers…Yum…I have never had it but I am dreaming of it in my ring of fire.  Today will feel like 103 degrees…

Most of the residents know howl much I love The Basset Hound Walkers across the pond.  On July the 12th they took another walk.  This YouTube is 10 minutes long and I enjoyed every delicious minute.  Especially the end when they stopped for Somerset Cream.  OMD!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Ring of Fire, WTHeck Lovers?  This morning on the Today Show Al Roker had up a big map with something he was calling the ring of fire!  Bassethoundtown was at the top.  I guess it is some kind of weather phenomena which means it is going to be darn HOT!  Bassethoundtown will “feel like” 100 degrees the next several days.  It is a good thing our power came back on!

All paws crossed it stays on.

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and without power haters…OMD – what a hassle!  Our power is not expected back on until 10pm tonight.  We are really over it!

The day before we had to rush to our safe spot in the basement because of a tornado warning! We got the all clear and were not in that path of that storm.

But the next day we had straight line winds and torrential downpours that cut off our power.

I bought 50 pounds of ice last night and saw this…

I guess they were fixing someone else…:(  Don’t they know I have the Mayor to worry about?  Her comfort is paramount!

Here she is watching me haul in the ice!

Now Grandma and I are at the library charging up our devices for the long hot day ahead.  What a bummer…but we will survive!

When we leave here it is off to buy more ice –

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Facebook find of the day lovers.  I have A LOT of  “friends” on facebook and the pictures of basset hounds are E N D L E S S…never ending…they go on for hours.  Anyway…I try to pick and choose some for the residents to view that I think are the best!  hehehe

What in the world?  It looks like someone laid a sleeping pup on top of a glass top table and then but a black sheet over himz to create this effect?

I love it.

OK – I am hard at work but my assistant is easing into her Monday!

Please notice the ceiling fan!  She has her lace ear placed over her eyes so my desk light does not bother herz!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and America lovers…There is nothing better than a 4th of July grill out.  Grandma, Daisy Lynn and I did just that in our own back yard.  Just look at this!  asparagus on a mini George Foreman grill!

It just does not get any better! I had a lemon, butter, chardonnay sauce to add for steaming to perfection.  Just look at those grill marks.

Burgers are the best on a George and the 4th was in full swing!

Those are cherry tomatoes we harvested today right off the vine!

Complete with our very own Mayor on parade!

Grill out and a show!
