Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Celebrating Birthday Lovers…Well, today marks the first day of the last year of my 50s.  Wow, seems weird to say that.  Crazy for sure.  I must share the celebration my BFF had for me.  She is amazing.  You have to see this cake.

It was a thing of beauty.  She is a master cake maker as you can tell…

I tell you it is art work.  I actually started petting it.  I want it as a pet!!!

It was the pink perfection vanilla confection.  OMDOG!!!

Well, I was in shock…

Janie asked our friend and artist Bev Erschell to paint Chaps and Emma for me.  Mrs. Erschell is a well known artist and shows in multiple galleries.  The enormity of theses gifts are beyond measure.

You will not believe this but Mrs. Erschell even showcased the patty and that was all her doing!

You may recall that Janie had asked Mrs. Erschell to paint Chloe and Lily for me some years ago.  It is a painting that I treasure and adore daily.

I am playing around with placement and was wondering howl this looked?  Wow, I can now say that I have a Bev Erschell collection.  I am also the proud owner of a portrait she did of me in high school.  I am beyond blessed with these gifts and I cannot thank Janie and Mrs. Erschell enough.  Words are not enough…

So for now I will just kiss my new pink pet…who is currently residing my my freezer….
