Emma and Chaps really missed each other today!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Bonded Pair Lovers…..

OMG! Emma and Chaps missed each other so much today. Emma was besides herself when Chaps left. I am not going to do readings any more without both of them. It is just not worth the stress on each of them.

Emma cried when we left really loud. Poor girl. I feel so bad. When we got home I thought they were going to go crazy greeting each other.

Here is a pic I just snapped! It is dark but you can see the love!

Oh, they are so cute. Chaps is now nuzzling herz!

More keeping us all as a pack later…Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

Awwwwww. Poor Emmers. It’s cool having a bonded pair but it does cause some stress when one is removed from the other. I had a mother and son pair that I thought was bonded so when the mother got really bad and I knew she wasn’t long for this world I adopted Jethro. I thought it would ease the pain on the son when Mom passed on if he had another buddy. Well, to my surprise, it didn’t bother him at all. I was soooo glad. Maybe he sensed she was going and prepared himself.

We never want to think about it but in a few years you may want to try and integrate another basset in to the pack. Just so it won’t be so hard on one when the other goes. I know how Chaps is though so it may be hard. But he may surprise you.

I am so glad you will be taking Emma from now on, I think Emma will teach a lot to children.
