What a difference a day makes in the life of a Mayor;)
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and needing an update about Our Mayor Lovers! Well, the Mayor feels much better today. It was definitely a pulled muscle. He was up bright and early for our coffee clutch.
I just love this mug. Someone bought it for me as a secret Santa gift a few years ago.
I bet I could sell these mugs to the masses. Who would not love having coffee with the Mayor every morning?
Then, we heard something and out the dog door the Mayor went!
What is the Mayor looking at so intently????
Our Love Doves are back! They are residents of basset hound town.
The Mayor was eager to greet them!

The Doves were not as eager!
They were watching their Mayor from the safety of the neighbor’s roof!
Coo….Coo….To….You…..Mayor!
It’s nice to have the Mayor back watching over his residents.
Time for a second cup of coffee……

Nothing keeps our Mayor down for long. Mayor Chaps is too conscientious about his duties. Our Mayor sets a fine example.
