We took the kids to a water park today;)

July 3rd, 2010 - 7:07 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Water Park Lovers! The water parks of America were full today with kids and mine were no exception!

Except for a few things…..

Our water park had no admission fee…..

There were no long lines……..

IMG_7654

As a matter of fact, we were the only ones in line!

IMG_7656

There were no steps up to the diving platform!

IMG_7635

We did not want to dive anyway, just listen to the babbling brook. Emma was transfixed!

IMG_7650

She was so still……

No admission fees, No long lines, No steps, and babbling brooks…….PRICELESS;)

More water parks in the out reaches of Ohio later…..Love, Cat, Grandma, Chaps and Emma

there are the BEST kinds of waterparks anyway! (trust me…& i live a block away from the other kind)

i can’t wait to take miss sally who hiking to her first water park adventure…i am sure she will enjoy her’s too! (altho honestly buster fell into his first one..he was so intent on watching he crashed into it…urban boy!..that was his initial camping trip when he was hiding from the scary evil “big killer” trees, rocks, water, etc. he is bettern now but that trip was pretty funny..coop & i hiked, buster pouted & got dragged along..mr staten island/ nyc boy..people kept asking..”what is wrong with your dog? is he ok??” yes, just missing cement, people & noise)

Cat…those photos are Awesome!!!! Not to mention beautiful!!! Chaps & Emma are having such a great summer full of outings. The one of Emma sitting on the rock listening to the river, brought tears to me eyes. She is so beautiful, and I love the way she sees through her soul — just beautiful!!!!! We all could learn from Emma. Oh, I love her so much, please give her a big hug from me & of course a kiss for Big Daddy too!

How beautiful! And with no one around that makes it that much better. I love the way Emma is just soaking in all the new noises. Too sweet!

Emma was a treasure to behold. She made me stop, close my eyes and listen. I had a tight hold on her and then I whispered, “thank you” in her long velvet ear. Best part of the entire long weekend!
