Careful Emma. Remember your fair skin.
Well, a little bit of Hermine decided to come visit us today so it’s not a good Labor Day for us. It’s overcast and raining about every 30 mins or so. The wind blows for a while but not too hard. Probably about 20 MPH. Then it rains, then it all stops, then it starts up again. Tomorrow is supposed to be flash flood warnings due to the rain pounding the same spot. I hope this sucker comes inland and doesn’t go back out! They’re not predicting it to go back out so hopefully this is all we’ll get.
I hope Emma was mindful of her patty today and didn’t over indulge in the sunshine.
Cindy – I heard a meteorologist referring to “Hermine” as “her-mean”, trying to make it sound really bad, but it looked like what you said – some rain and some wind. Flash floods will be the bigger problem.
Dogs here have been sleeping all day because they had to spend 3 days at the doggy hotel while we were out of town. They were also bathed and had their nails done, so you know they are exhausted.
Hey OM! Yeah, they can sometimes make things sound worse than they are. We got rain last night but it wasn’t bad at all. No flooding yet. We have some tornado warnings this morning but I think we’re more north east than most of the really bad stuff.
Feels like it is about to snow here this morning!
