Wanna see Emma when she could see?

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and loving old pictures. I thought I would share a picture of our Emma when she could see. I sure hope she can still remember our faces. I bet she does! I know she remembers Chaps rear end! She follows him around like a puppy!
It was sooooo cute today. I laid down in our bed and it was so funny. Emma came running towards me like she was diving into a pool of love. I was laughing so loud. She landed right on my head! Keep in mind I saw all of this in slow motion. It was so much fun.
Emma is so special!

That picture cracks me up. I had like 3 collars on her. All of them had tags and she is microchipped. I am surprised I didn’t have her in a bubble.
Emma was beautiful then and she’s even more beautiful now. She remembers how everything looks. I’m sure of it. And she still sees. Just in a different way. Ya know, it was interesting, the other day I was reading about dogs senses. Did you know that their least trusted sense in their sight? That explains why dogs adjust so well to losing their sight. It made me happy for Emma when I read that.

I think God gave Emma a bigger heart to compensate for her loss of sight, and she sees with her heart.
