What a difference a hallway makes??????
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Hallway Lovers! I was struck by these 2 strikingly different hallway pictures.
First we have the basset hound town hallway. Here you see toy washing day. Chaps is frantically trying to find his favorite toy. Not to worry he had it back in his paws within 45 minutes.
But that is not the jest of this post.
What a difference a hallway makes! Check out the House of Puddles hallway! WOW!
Keep in mind, these are not all of the HoPpers! I think it is feeding time so all of the elders are hungry! I am thinking about 4 or 5 hounds are not in the picture!
More comparing hallways later….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
I don’t have a long hallway cuz my house is pretty open but…I can sure relate. I don’t have as many dogs as HOP but 5 gets pretty darn crowded at times.
I am amazed at how clean both your homes are with all the toys and hound furnishings. No wonder you are on the floor so much Cathy.
One kid, two dogs and one cat (and one husband), and I can’t begin to come up with anything that compares with the HOP picture! Bless you Marilyn!
Cindy – 5 dogs? You still fostering the non-hound?
Maureen! Yes, I am on the floor a lot. I try to keep the hound bunnies at bay! Chaps never stops shedding. Emma has such a thin coat. It was so funny this morning. It was pouring snow when I let the kids out into the Ladies Room. About a few minutes later I heard Chaps barking. He never barks. HE WANTED BACK IN NOW! Himz looked like a snow hound. It was too funny. I brought himz in and toweled both of them down! They loved it!
I digress…..
Cat
OM! can you believe it? I can not. Marilyn goes to work every day. Those elders for the most part sleep, I think?
Marilyn…….love you!
OM, I do still have the non hound. And it’s a pretty miserable situation in the Doyle’s Senior Household. The all breed rescue won’t network her or let me take her to any adoption events until she’s vetted. Which I can understand. So, this Saturday the 15th she gets spayed and all her shots. Then, I’ll be going to an adoption event on the 22nd of this month and every other Saturday after that to get her exposed and hopefully adopted. WISH ME LUCK!!!
Cindy – extra good will in hopes that the pup finds a new home soon. You are very kind to give her the time and love she needs to get off on the right paw.
My guess is the rest of the crew will need extra naps and extra snacks when their cousin finds a new home.
