The Mayor hunkers down – thunder snow predicted for later tonight:(
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Thunder Snow Haters! Well, there is no nice way to put it. Thunder on February the 1st? Not a good thing.
That aside we cannot really complain. The part of basset hound town that we live in is pretty lucky, actually. We were right on the edge of the monster storm and we are very thankful for that. This morning we had a thin sheet of ice. It was so odd, it was foggy ice! The fog was thick and it was all ice. Too strange!
Here is the Mayor hunkering down for the predicted thunder snow. We have not needed a storm pill in I cannot remember when! I hope we don’t need one. I think we will be fine.
Here is the Mayor listening to the weather channel reporting from the blizzard in the bassethoundtown of Chicago.
The radar shows the monster storm of 2011!
The Mayor stays close to those he loves…..me and the fridge!
More hoping we don’t hear thunder snow later…..Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
I hope your ok! We’re not used to this in south Texas and it’s freezing here. It’s 25 at my house and isn’t expected to get much above freezing today. Brrrrrr. How did the mayor do? How is everyone doing?
STAY WARM!
My office was closed yesterday, so I stayed home and read and watched the television. I just snuggled with Slinky and we had the best time.
Taking Slinky about for business was another matter. Slinky likes to go up and down in the dog run to select her spot, but the dog run was filled with about 4 feet of snow. Slinky could not be particular and this confused her.
Chicago is still crippled by the snow and cold, but things are slowly getting better. Tonight will be another soup night and maybe a murder mystery.
