SLOG entry 4-19-04

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and SLOG entry lovers…..Here is the entry in my trusty spiral ring note book 7 years ago today.
As we all know it was not one week to go but only days. When I was writing this entry I was working on the Lily book and also designing my website. I bought my domain name in early 2005. I remember thinking up the name in a flash.
I wanted a name that respresented a place, a center, a home, A TOWN, for basset hound lovers…….
Here is a good picture of Mommy Dawn. Her fancy name is Dawn’s First Light……
Emma looks so much like her. Dawn is also very smart and Emma inherited that as well. I think Chaps had a crush on her.

My recent departed pup was terribly frighten of thunder storms so I feel for you. Every time it storms here in Columbus I think of the Mayor. Poor baby. Bosco my basset and Coco my beagle mix don’t care one way or another bout storms. Makes for better sleep.
I can see that Dawn has a great deal of understanding and empathy, and I know that Emma has inherited these fine qualities.
I have not been able to enjoy a good thunderstorm for about 15 years. I have always had a storm phobic hound. Sigh………
I always enjoy reading or watching a murder mystery during a thunderstorm.
