Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Evelyn Leaven’s lovers. I have been a huge fan of Evelyn’s since I first laid eyes on her NYT best selling children’s book, Boswell’s Life of Boswell. That was about 16 or 17 years ago.

I have blogged about Evelyn since I started blogging in 2006 and her and I became friends about 6 years ago.

Anyway, she has a gallery showing tonight of her latest works at:

    Chaps and Emma asked me to check out the price of this painting. The cost is $5,500 but the gallery owner is offering a 20% discount. Aren’t you glad you live far enough away not to be temped!

    damn..i just saw this…rumson is just down the road from da burg…i could have bugged suzanne & made a road trip out of it…

    very very nice neighborhood….not sure if i own anything fancy enough to be seen in such a neighborhood & i am sure the QE 3 would cause quite a stir…

    too funny that she is from red bank, nj…which is really like 2 town over from me…

    red bank is a very artsy town…cool to walk thru…(pain to drive thru tho..at least i think so…and miss ivy the pointer/st bernard mix we dog sit is from red bank)

    it is indeed a small world.

    Evelyn’s show continues through June so stop by and see it. Also check out her website with hundreds of painting on it, evelynleavens.com. I have been friends with Evelyn for almost 40 years, she is quite the colorful character. Should make the time to meet her or to see her show…time marches on. She is still painting!
