Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and D lovers. Yesterday the Mayor wandered outside to get a dose of Vitamin D by the Day lilies…

The Day Lilies bloom right around my birthday which I love. Of course, I take this as a birthday present from Lily!
Some of the Lilys that Lily is posing in front of are behind Chaps. My Dad dug some of them up and brought them to our new home! Oh, howl much do I love that?
Anyway, Chaps gets hot and waddles in when he is done…..
He lays right by the AC vent that is behind this cabinet! See the hole?

If we didn’t have vitamin A and C here we wouldn’t make it. Finally, they are forecasting some rain this next week with a break in the heat. Oh how I hope they are right!
Wow Cindy, I feel so sorry for you guys in TX. I would much rather have lots of rain vs drought. That is just parching….
Chaps is definitely a creature of comfort. Basking in the sun and then enjoying the AC.
