Oh the simple pleasures in life. For these 2 is it 1 stick. Hannah and Heini are wonderful together.
I am pretty sure Hundestrand is in Holland.

The sign is in German. It says “Bathing beach for guests (visitors) with dogs.”
and “am Hundestrand” means “on the dog beach.” Hund is dog in German.
I think it is in Germany somewhere.

I googled it and came up with a beach some where in Holland. Too funny. Still is cute where ever it is! I call the Mayor my Hundin all the time. Love it.
I dont think Hannah got enough stick time! I can ask Dan if this is in Holland. He lived in Holland for quite some time and speaks both German and Dutch.

I found the sites you looked at in your Google search. Then I went to my atlas to see where Germany was with respect to Holland. For many Germans in Cologne, it would be quicker to go to the Holland beaches than driving north in Germany.
The websites that talk about Holland are German websites (.de) advertising places to stay in Holland that have houses, rooms, etc that are dog friendly and have a dog beach nearby. Trying to get the vacation crowd to go to Holland with their dogs. Very interesting to learn a little more about Europe.

Translated (roughly;) it’s “at the dog beach in Port Saint. Two dogs cannot be more different. The Lower Thund small and long, the Olde English Bulldogge large and short. Nevertheless, both have sought and found. Almost true love dogs.” Ahhh, true love, indeed:) The Basset is simply being a true gentlehound!;)
