Bassethoundtown.com find of the day!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and bassethoundtown.com find of the day lovers……
I had to share this old picture I ran across of our baby Emma. Here she is the day we picked her up from the breeder in TX. It was 8 years ago.
Shimlette was getting a few final touches before we loaded her up in the basset hauling vehicle for our drive back to KY. I actually bought the BHV specifically for this road trip. I was in need of a new hauling vehicle so it worked out perfectly.
Our Burger Boy was waiting in the holding tank for us.
I was so excited that I thought I would pass out. Look howl excited he was as well!
More loving, sharing bassethoundtown.com find of the day later…..Cat, Chaps and Emma
What a wonderful day that must have been. I remember the day almost 10 years ago that we picked up my big boy Bumper and then two months later we added Iil sis Abby. I was so excited I could barely stand it. It has been a wonderful 10 years and I am sure Cat that you feel the same way. Where has the time gone? Seems like yesterday – sigh!
I am not patient when it come to getting a pet. Once I decide on getting a hound I want it NOW! I can’t imagine the excitement between all of you. A day you’ll never forget. Chaps and Emma didn’t know that they were the luckiest hounds on earth until that day came.
It was crushingly hard waiting for them. Dawn was pregnant with Emma when I adopted her. I didn’t know which pup but I was pretty sure I was getting a pup. Then we worked out adopting Chaps as well. What a wild ride. Grandma and I had so much fun driving to TX and back. Have a great week CJROH! Love you guys…..
I can’t imagine my life without Slinky. Slinky was the best thing I ever did for myself, Slinky is great company and a lot of fun. Anyone that doesn’t have a pet in their life is missing out on soooooooooo much. The quality of my life has so improved with Slinky.
OMD! Look at the ears on that little girl! I just want to smother her with kisses!
I remember…..and I remember seeing Chaps when we came and got Colby. I was sad I was not taking him, but Sharon said, Oh, I’ll get him adopted after we get his cherry eye fixed and his tonsils out. I was so sad to leave him behind 🙁 So, thankful he got you & stayed a part of ‘Our Family’!
