Update on the Mayor

He is still swollen. I fed him his dinner with a spoon 4 hours after his normal time. I will update his fans in the morning. He still looks a bit pathetic.
A bit of drool is in order. Thanks……

OMG!!!!!!! I just checked in and cannot believe my eyes. Our poor Baby…….I would of been a basket case seeing that. Has his swelling gone down anymore? He looks so pitiful. Please give him a big hug, from me…. and his son is sending him all his extra drool today!!!!! Keep us posted. We love you, Audra, Colby Chaps & Abby
Hi, Cat–just checked in (at work). Oh no, not still swollen?! How much benadryl are you giving Chaps? Leo is around 54 lbs. and I gave him a 25 mg. pill (in the kid’s pink box) every 4 hrs. (but I was told I could give 2 pills). It took 2 full days before the swelling went down entirely. Extra hugs and belly rubs from me and more drool coming from the 3 Bassketeers:)

Our poor handsome boy…hope he is feeling better this AM…I know with his Mommy’s loving and all the special drool coming his way…he is in good hands.

I was busy on the computer yesterday, and just read this post this morning.
Slinky is so upset and worried about the Mayor. Is there anything we can do. Don’t be afraid to ask. I know the Mayor is very brave, but all of his friends are keeping a good thought and wish him a speedy recovery.
The flooding is bad in some parts of Illinois, but I haven’t been affected-just a little rain.

What are you feeding him by spoon?
Has the vet seen other cases per chance?
Or is it nutty with all the weather related challenges?
