From the darkness into the light…
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and dark to light lovers…Will you allow me to brag on the Mayor a bit? This morning we had about 4 severe thunderstorm warnings. Grandma came down to help with the Mayor. It was crashing…
I was trying to work in the office. I did pop into the living room to check on the Mayor and guess what?
He was getting into his storm cage all by himz self! It was so cute. I was so proud of him. He did it all for his Grandma!
Then the storm passed and the sun came out. I was splashing my face with some cool water and looked down.
Brightness, flowers, and serenity.
What a different several minutes can make.
Howl cute is the Mayor on this pink bathroom rug?
More loving darkness to light later…Cat, Chaps and Emma
We are really being hit with some strong storms this year. Is this our pay back for no snow this winter? The rain and hail was pretty fierce this morning. It knocked out our cable and the electric at Johnson School. Grandkids ate lunch in cafeteria with candles for light. There was no electric for miles. Glad you all made it through the storms and hope the rain this weekend is not as bad.
The Mayor has his safe place. That is exactly what he needed. For some reason he feels safe in that crate and who cares why. I’m soooo happy that he has a place to go where he feels protected.
Seems Chaps may be getting a hang of the storm crate. Too bad we have had such a stormy spring.
AWWW, poor darling! Chaps is precious!:) And a smart boy, too, for going in his storm cage all by himself!
