Day 9 of healing feels like day 90 – but it’s all good!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Chaps Healing Lovers…Today is day 9 of incision healing. The Mayor has really turned the corner and he has been off of his pain medicine for a few days. I noticed a bit of blood in his tinkle and that was it. No more pain pills. No more blood in the tinkle.
His stitches look great.
Grandma and I had him outside today to help us water the gardens. He had so much fun in the lilac and lilies..
It took us about 2 hours to water the front and the back.
Then a freak summer shower showed up! We all know it happens that way.
The Mayor was not amused.
More loving showers and no thunder later! Cat, Chaps and Emma ATB
PS – those lilies are from the place I used to live and are on the cover of THE LILY BOOK, I love that…
Earlier today it looked like bad weather up in that area. You must have been out of the line of storms. Good deal for The Mayor!
We sure did dodge the storms that were predicted for bassethoundtown this weekend. Rick and our boys were on a fishing trip to Lake Cumberland and it stormed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Guess we were lucky not to have the storms but boy oh boy do we need the rain. Glad Chaps enjoyed his day outside. Keep us posted on his vet visits this week.
Chaps looks like he belongs in a garden amoung beautiful things, and perhaps some yummy vegetables.
the plants are beautiful. I didn’t know the Mayor had a “green paw”
Your GARDEN is just beautiful and none of the vegetation looks stressed. And I imagine that the Mayor and the Pixies had a lot to do with it looking so great, LOL.
Yeah….that Chaps is a tough cookie.
