Emma’s morning update

October 4th, 2008 - 10:10 am KY Time

Howllo Fellow Hound and Emma Lovers: I hope I am not boring my readers with all of the Emma postings, but on the other hand, I know a lot of readers want to know how she is doing.

Emma slept through the night without any problem. I woke up about every hour to check on her and she was doing great and sawing logs, unlike her Mommy!

She ate her breakfast this morning and she drank a huge amount of water. She even went out the dog door! She is back in bed and resting.

She wants to be back to normal in the worse way. She is crying a fair amount.

Grandma is sitting with her right now so I can do a few things on my website.

I will be back later….Cat, Chaps and Emma

That’s our Girl, Can’t keep a good girl down.
Emma is going to do just fine , It’s Mommy that I’m worried about,I know you take these things very hard. Much Love = Much concern. Love Ken

I agree with Ken. I think these things are harder on people than the hounds. Sounds like Emma will do fine; especially with the Mayor at her side.

Cat – keep us updated (and have a cocktail at dinner tonite!)

Agree completely with Ken and Candace. All of us humans I think worry more about Emma than poor Emma does (and that’s how it should be). She’s lucky to have you (and you her). Do please keep up the updates — I report on her to folks at work here in Washington D.C. who are also dog lovers. Please know you have a very extended support network!

I’m so glad she had a good night. She will be fine Cat. Just remember she needs you, so take care of yourself! She does have a very extended support network, everyone I know is asking about her too. Emma is an inspiration to us all! Hugs and drool coming your way…..Audra, Colby Chaps & Abby
