Anyone remember this guy? Today is his day on the Sr. Hounds Abound Calendar

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Nash lovers.  Remember bassethoundtown resident Nash?  He was the guy we were helping to find a home for.  He did find a really fine home but not prior to being passed around.  Poor Guy.

For some reason I had a rash of pictures on the Sr. Hounds Abound Calendar fall at the end of January.  That’s OK.  Remember, I bought all of the remaining dates so I could showcase some of our residents.

I finally did confirm that Nash was related to Emma.  It took a lot of digging and research but finally someone fessed up.  I never could get the basset hound rescue he was with to even answer my questions.  Very sad.

I love you Nash.  Just know that Emma and I will support and report on hounds such as yourself.

More supporting and reporting later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB) still working to shine light on primary, hereditary glaucoma…

I remember Nash. What a beautiful boy. He looks very much like our Emma. So glad he finally found a home.

Thank you Cat for looking out for the rescues and for this little blind guy. Hope this little guy will always be loved and cared for; so it did turn out that he was a relative of sweet Emma. I am sure Emma will be a shining light for Nash. Kiss that sweet Daisy Lynn for me and patty pets!

I remember Nash and you working to see if he was related to Emma. Sounds like the poor guy has had a rough life but is happy now and that is what matters most!

I remember Nash. I didn’t know he had been passed around. I think that’s so hard on an animal. I am glad to here he’s settled in with a good family.

With the glaucoma and his appearance, it seemed likely he was related to Emma. I’m glad he finally found a family to love him.

    Hi Cat
Congrats on the new addition! Just saw the picture of Nash who looks a lot like my Bo. So interesting. I’d contacted you before because I wondered if my dog and your Emma had some connection. Bo is from Texas. I found him on petfinder and he was transported up here to me in New England. I have no background on him but wonder if his name Bo comes from the breeder in TX you have concerns about. Bo is also blind from glaucoma. Anyway wish I knew more about his background. I’m so happy you found your new little Daisy. Hope she brings u much joy!
