Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and the wonders of a sunset lovers…
The sun was setting behind our Daisy Lynn and in a split second I captured this!
The sun was creeping in behind her ear.
Daisy Lynn has been doing some barking and she has a beautiful low voice. I am anxiously awaiting her first howl. Hope I can capture it on video…She is really blooming!

What a fantastic photo! Perhaps you and Grandma could hold Daisy Lynn between you and do a “Family Howl.” That’s what Tom and I do with Nosey! We all lift our heads up and hoooowwwwwwlllllll in three part harmony! It always ends in lots of kisses and hugs and tail wagging!
How cool! Very beautiful too. You can tell where the pigment of her skin changes color.
What a beautiful photo!! I will never forget the 1st time I heard Ollie howl- what a surprise! He really gets into it with his head back & nose pointed high. Makes me laugh. He is not a hound but you would think he is. LOL!! His daddy does this too.
Oh…BYW….I know she can howl because I heard her do it in her sleep a few nights ago. It was that same sleep howl that Emma used to do. Very pretty!
