I love my blog;)

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and loving my blog lovers…Well, I hope there are a few in that category!  A few weeks ago a woman contacted me about her basset going blind from glaucoma.  She thanked me for my sub-blog – Seeing with your heart, and nose

It is so frightening to receive this diagnosis and you need answers fast to many questions.  What to do?  What to do? Well, we discussed what I would do and basically emphatically suggested she do exactly that, which I am pleased to report she did.  Of course Emma was the guiding light.

Minnie is home and is adjusting with the grace and dignity of a basset hound.  She has the support of her family who adore and cherish her.

Glad bassethoundtown could help…

More continuing my research and investigation into horrible breeding practices later….Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chap and Emma ATB) cheering me on….

This is so sad, but at the same time very inspirational.

What a cutie Minnie is. She looks young, I;m sure she will adjust very well. Like you said, she is adored by her family!!!

You are the best Cat for helping Minnies family with a hard decision. Minnie will be just fine. She’s lucky to have a loving family who took the right steps in her interest.

All the time blogging can be made worth it when even one family’s life is made better. What a sweetheart Minnie is – she and her family are so brave. Nice to see when families stand by their hounds instead of tossing them away.

I hope Minnie and her family will stop by BHT and give us updates. Love the name Minnie for a hound by the way. 🙂
