June here we come!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and June lovers…I do love June.  It is fun seeing June through the eyes of a puppy who has never seen June!  So, we set off on a long and invigorating walk.  It was beautiful in bassethoundtown!

DaisyDay6

Daisy Lynn pranced like the puppy she is.  We had to stop and smell this tree!

“tree mail”…

When we got home I found everything in my fridge that I could possibly add to eggs and made this!

DaisyDay1

Chili olive oil, onions, jalapenos, ham, pepper, broccoli, spinach, cilantro, peas, salsa, chardonnay, butter, cream, cheddar, havarti, onion camembert, french baguette, and last but not least…eggs!

Yes, I had all of this in my fridge…

DaisyDay2

After it cools I slice it into about 10 pieces, freeze and lunch is served for about 2 weeks!

You can’t have lunch without Daisies;)

DaisyDay5

OK, here is the absolute fine of June!  We are just one day in but still…When I go to Krogers the first thing I do is look at the on sale flowers.

BINGO…A bunch of daisies for 2.99 – SOLD!

DaisyDay4

Then, get this…I was rolling through Krogers, thinking….I wish I had a Daisy vase!  Well I guess wishes do come true!  I found that vase on the bargain table, way in the back by the blood pressure chair thing!

My eyes were almost as big as Daisy’s Lynn when I spotted it!

DaisyDay3

My hand was slightly shaking as I reached for it.  3.99 – Manager’s Special!

Next stop…blood pressure chair!

More loving the little things that make June so special…Cat, Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB keeping Mama’s blood pressure down;)

The dish you made sounds delicious!! I love it when I have homemade stuff in my freezer that I can grab for supper. Your daisies are so pretty. The vase is a great find- I love it when I come across things like that. My daisies in my garden are just starting to get buds. I was so happy to see that they came back after winter. My miniature butterfly bush did too. Sandy

Cat, You are a wonderful cook. The dishes you make always look and sound so delicious.

The Daisies are perfect for Mayor Daisy, it will help her get her day started off just right!

I’m angry at Slinky. This weekend I took her with me to the cemetary, while I planted some begonias, so Slinky could be outside for awhile, she indulged herself in a lot of green grass and then vomited in the back of my new car that has less that 400 miles on it.
