An Indian Summer moment captured on election day!

Howllo Fellow Hound and Election Indian Summer Day Lovers:

OMG – I cannot tell you how magnificent this day was in the world of voting and walking hounds. My Mom took a walk yesterday and told me that we HAD to walk the hounds today and capture this tree that was 2 minutes from our home. I have to let you know that I did NO color correction whatsoever. This is the true color of this tree – absolutely!

THIS IS THE START OF THE PHOTO SHOOT OF THE TREE THAT MY MOM INSISTED THAT THE KIDS BE PHOTOGRAPHED UNDER………..(God I love her)

We set up shop for about a half hour doing this shoot. I took about 80 photos and these are some of the best…….

What I love about the photos is that the white areas of fur on the kids look pink. This is the sun reflecting off of the leaves onto their coats. I am just thrilled with how wonderful these pictures turned out! Thanks to my Mom.

My Mom is the best at bringing me the best shot. Just look at Emma!!!

I had Chaps attached to the tree that had a large cow bell in it. It was so totally cool, hearing that cow bell and seeing my kid in such a beautiful setting!

The sun light was dancing on the pink leaves and I was in heaven. Of course there were out takes!
This one was just as cute as any of the others! LOL

Then a leaf landed on our Emma’s head!

Then the Mayor said he was done. He let me take this one final shot. Some times the last shot is the best. Some times the moment is the best. When they combined. Priceless………..

More pink leaves later (hopefully) Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma – Enjoy

Cat, those pictures are beyond fantabulous. The one with the leaf on Emmers head touches the soul. That could be sold for some fundraising. It is like God put it right on Emmers to touch her in a special way like she is touching so many.

The kids look beautiful!!! I just love the pictures of Emma!! Cat, my 7 year old son has learned so much from seeing Emma’s pictures. I had to explain to him what happened to her…but he is such a good kid and said she is so cute even without her eyes!!!
Our Emma is a good girl!!! She is such an inspiration to all!

Those photos are truly wonderful, thank you, your mother, and most importantly Chaps and Emma for making the world a more beautiful place.

I don’t think I have ever seen a bad photo of Emma or Chaps. It’s just not possible.

I think Ansel Adams would be sooooooooooo jealous of these photos.

Dear Emily, that is the sweetest comment. I am so blessed to hear that your son has learned so much from our Emma. I sure wish you lived close enough to meet her in person. I bet they would be fast and forever friends. Tell you son, that Emma would like to lick his face and jump on him. LOL
Thanks again Emily. I really loved hearing that.

    Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
