Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and tomato lovers…Grandma and I had high hopes for a bumper crop but nonetheless our hopes were dashed
ONE TOMATO!!! IS THAT A RECORD?
Needless to say we have been popping by a few farmers markets;)
More loving that one tomato later…Cat, Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB eating BLTs)

hey i had one 1 mater here in the great north woods this year too. but i think it was a combination of 3 weeks of solid rain, crappy soil & not a whole lot of warmth that did it in…hopefully next year i’ll get more. buster loves his mater’s ya know so he was solely disappointed with just one…
my neighbors grew a garden & they have been blessed with a million cucumbers..so thankfully the herd have decided that cukes are a wonderful treat.
Oh howl disappointing that is! The plants look like they are pretty big. My mother in law has gotten some tomatoes this year but they were very late and There were not a lot of them. Maybe better weather next year. I am done with trying to grow them – the ones at the farmers market on Friday in town are very good!
I think Mayor Daisy has plans of enjoying this one tomato on her own.
