Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Turkey Lovers!!! This morning I woke up and saw this sight! Yes, I sleep with my phone…and it sure paid off this Thanksgiving day!
That was sunlight hitting her just right.
Isn’t that pretty and really something to be Thankful for. I know Daisy Lynn is as well.
Do you have a favorite side dish? My sister makes the most delicious cranberry sauce that is loaded with booze. hehehe

Happy Thanksgiving to you & your family! Our favorite side dish that has been made since I was a kid is Cranberry Salad. It is made with fresh cranberries, pecans, apples & sugar. Set in fridge overnight – stir & top with whipped cream.
My Hank has both feet turned out – severly! We rescued him a year ago and think he’s about 3 yrs old. Is it too late to help that?
I am not a good cook at all, but I am a great baker. I can make the best and most delicious breads, cakes and pies. Two of my specialties are: Pinneapple Upside Down Cake, and Cherry Brandy Pie!

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is my Mom’s dressing. This year my sister did Thanksgiving and instead of a turkey, she made turkey rolls. I really missed that turkey.
Cindy A – I really don’t know the answer to that. I can ask the next time we go to her holistic vet and get back to you. I would think that massaging the shoulders and the ankle joints could not hurt. Dr. Leick told me to do this for a few minutes twice a day. I apply the very slightest pressure to the joint that is turned out holding the entire joint in your hand so your palm cradles the inside and the ultra slight pressure applied to the outside. Dr. Leick said that the muscles and ligaments are tight and will stay that way over time but we did not discuss over what time. He actually adjusted that paw and her shoulder on that side while we were there. Please someone correct me if I am wrong but I was told by Emma’s breeders that this was considered a fault in the show world and this was the reason they gave her up to a pet home.
