bassethoundtown is lighting up the season with love…
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Lighting up the Season Lovers…It has been a few years since I lit up bassethoundtown. Grandma and I decided to get busy and make Daisy Lynn’s Howl-o-day season full of fun.
We have been working on it for a few days.
We knew an ice and snow event was coming today so I really made sure to wrap it up yesterday! Daisy Lynn was supervising from her perch!
This time the weather people were right!
We were in the path of the big ice and snow dump!
I took these pictures right at blue dusk.
Blue dusk is even bluer reflecting off the snow. It was pouring when I took these pictures but you can’t really tell. I love blue dusk.
Daisy Lynn was transfixed… (note Chaps bench)
She has not left this window all day!
Howl much fun!
Tomorrow I might get her out front for a few pictures but tonight she is staying firmly planted on the couch arm.
That is until she has to potty!
Then it is “Let me the heck back in Mommy!”
Of course a lady needs her “lady’s room” lit up!
More lighting up the season (and lady’s room) with love later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB loving the rainbow lights!)
ps
Your place looks beautiful all lit up!!! & the snow just adds to the feeling of Christmas! I love your photos. I have to agree that blue dusk is always so pretty with snow.. Did you put up a Christmas tree inside too? I was wondering what Daisy Lynn thought of it.
Beautiful!
How pretty! I know you guys don’t like the snow up there because you have it all the time. But from looking at it down here in South Texas where we never get it, it’s just beautiful. Sure puts me in the x-mas spirit! Oh poor Daisy Lynn. She is cold! I bet you have some melted yellow snow out there now!
Your home looks like something from Currier and Ives or Thomas Kincaid(sp). I know you don’t like to arrange meetings, but sometime I have to visit Basset Hound Town.
