What is wrong with this picture???
Howllo Fellow Hound and wrong picture lovers??? Take a close look. I am the one behind the gate??? Yes dear readers, I have to gate myself in my kitchen to eat breakfast. As you can see, I have a lovely, large dining room table, but………
I kind of hate slobber all over it. No matter how I try (not very hard) I cannot keep the kids off my lap while I sit at a table. It’s just easier to put myself behind a gate!
The big guy and his side kick always get the last bite.
Someday I might get to sit down and eat or maybe not!
More gated musing later……Cat, Chaps and Emma
Chaps looks so sad! LOL!!!
How can you deny that face??? Don’t feel bad – we are all in that boat with you!
XO Candy
I need a gate!!!! I have 2 bassets (one on each side of me when I eat) Needless to say my pants are soaking wet from all the drool and slobber. Colby Chaps even rests his head on my thigh in between the slight chance of another sympathy piece of food. side note: when I’m wearing shorts I have to place a towel on my thigh or well…..you know the rest!
Too funny but poor Chaps!
here it is the same thing, they are so smart that when it is supper time both hounds run one on each side of Kelly lol
I do have to say that is a very pretty gate!
Thanks SK! I love my gate and had them made almost like art work. I have always had a thing for wrought iron. The company who made them started their business back in the 1800s, but recently went out of business – People used to be able to afford them. I treasure mine. I have few more (that I am still paying for) LOL
Cat
Audra – that is so funny. I have that picture you sent me of Colby Chaps under Mike’s feet, I have to post that next in the same vein of this posting. The apple sure does not fall far from the old tree, AKA Chaps! hehehehe
I have done the same thing to Slinky. I cannot handle “the look” those sad brown eyes. When I gate her in the kitchen she cries and whines, and this rip my heart out. I feel so cruel and mean.
