Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and milk bone hound lovers…Sandy, Ollie’s Mom and basset hound town residents, asked about the milk bone basset hound ornaments and howl they are constructed.  These are so cute and so much fun.

You can make a little girl…

Or a little boy…

Or both for that matter!!!

As you can see there are so many combinations to make.  You can find all of the details and trimmings at some place like Michael’s.  Felt for the ears, bows for the girls, little round soft noses, eyes that have moving pupils, and burlap string for hanging.  I used your plain ole Elmers glue.

Here is the back…

You can also use a clothes pin with a magnet glued to it!  So cute on the fridge…

I found the little pink tree at big lots years ago.  I think it was about 10 bucks!

I love pulling this out every howl low day season!  It makes me smile…

I would love to see pictures if any of the residents make some!!! OK?

More loving craft time later…Cat, Daisy Lynn (Chaps and Emma ATB wanting to eat the milk bones;)

Thank-you very much for showing how to make these. I love going to Michael’s and my youngest grandson is always wanting to go with me. It is our favorite store.

Sandy – make sure to look for coupons online or in the paper. At our Michael’s the cashier has a 50% off coupon on a full price item she lets me use if I ask her. They have those coupons in the paper most every Sunday. This might be a good project for you and your grandson depending on his age!!!
