Happy New Year’s Eve dear readers……..

December 31st, 2008 - 8:08 am KY Time

Howllo Fellow Hound and New Year’s Eve and my readers lovers! You know what I mean!

I hope all of you are going to have a wonderful day, evening, and 2009.

I have never been one for making resolutions, but I think I am going to dub 2009 the year I try to raise money to have on hand for these occasions such as Homer. I am also going to try and find a foster home in Ft. Thomas or work a better rate at the vet office. I really like how close he is and that he himself has basset hounds.

Pretty lofty goals, but I think they are more than achievable.

I am going to get ready to go visit Homer. The kids are still in bed, so I have to roust them and get them fed.

Wow, I look at them sleeping and smile. Chaps has his head on a pink pillow and Emma is under the blanket. 2008 was a warm year for us, a bit stinky, but warm.

We are really looking forward to 2009 and hearing from all of our dear readers.

I will be blogging today and getting ready for Homer’s party. I better get crackin’!

HAPPPPPPPPPPPPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY NEW YEAR!

Love, Cat, Chaps, Emma and Homer

    Joni,
I would love to gift to you a consult if you need it for Homer. i do behavioral work along with diet and herbs and other things. i only do holistic work. i have worked with all kinds of animals but my heart is with bassets and right now i have four that own me. i have worked with bassets for over 18 years. so if you need any thing, any problems crop up or just small concerns just let me know and i will be there to help you and the family out. if you need me just e-mail and i will call you. i think Chaps will give me four paws up and you can chat with Cat.
sounds to me like Homer is getting a great home.
    Lucky Homer Lucky Joni!!!

David – great to hear from you. Check back later for more Homer updates. I am working on a cute video of him strutting his stuff! He even does a slight propeller wag! My personal favorite type of wag!
