Daisy Lynn and the cookie jar!
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Cookie Jar Lovers…I was on Facebook over the weekend. There is a page I follow called Daily Drool the facebook addition. There is also the Daily Drool from the e-mail list thing. That was started in the mid to late 1990s I believe. I joined and became one of the first 10 folks on that list. I had Natalie at the time. Now I think there are thousands. On the facebook page I think there are 7 thousandish folks. Wow –
Anyway, everyone was going nuts over a basset hound cookie jar that was introduced at WalMart and the crowd goes wild! It explodes into a shopping frenzy!
So – not to be out done by the other cookie jar (no offense to those who like it better) the Mayor had to show off herz!
It was a gift to Emma and Chaps from Colby Chaps a few years ago.
We adore and treasure it!
Guess what? There are also matching mugs!

Yes I got caught in the frenzy! I tried to order online and the site was so busy I never could place my order. I came back a few hours later and they were out of stock! I called our 3 local stores everyday and on Sunday I found one. They held it for me and I now have it. I keep our dog treats in it! It is really pretty cute and I have several of the Pioneer Woman’s cookbooks. Abby and Annie are happy about it❤️
