Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Annie Home from Surgery Lovers…
Our very own Annie did so good today. She was able to go home early so Judy and I took the basset hound haulin’ vehicle out to her vet to collect herz…
We tucked her into the Element. I had Chaps and Emma’s old ramp and she went right up it.
Here she is “chinin’ in”. This is what Chaps always did. He would sit right there and lay himz chin on the arm rest…He would do it for hours if we were on a trip…
We got her home safe and sound.
Judy was so sweet and sent me home with a healthy serving of hamburger soup…
And her homemade bread…For Grandma and I!
OMDog…it was amazing…Thank you Judy – dinner was fantastic…
More loving that Abby did so well…Cat, Daisy Lynn, (Chaps and Emma ATB making sure the hot bread is buttered;)
So glad to read Annie is doing awesome!! Your dinner looks delicious.
So glad it is over and she did so well.
Annie pupdate – she slept all night in her crate wearing her sweater and covered with blankets because she was still shivering last night. We never heard a peep out of her. She got up at 5:00 to potty and at 8:00 she ate her breakfast and took her first pain pill. Seems like all is well and she is recovering nicely.
I cannot tell you all how awesome it is to have Cat as my friend. I wish all of you could have her as a friend. She is always here for me and Annie just as she was for Bumper and Abby. We had a Smashburger lunch, lots of girl talk time and we used her awesome car to get Annie back home. She stayed until Annie was settled in. I am forever grateful to her and yes I agree the Pioneer Woman’s hamburger soup was awesome. The bread was no knead pot bread!! Annie sends her love to all❤️
I am glad all is well with Annie; and remind everyone of this FACT: Basset Hound owners are the kindest and most generous people there are. Thank again, for all you do.
Ahhhhhhhhhh………Thanks so much Judy! We do have a great time together and we are great friends. It is amazing howl hounds will bring people together. Annie was a pro at going up and coming down that ramp even though she was kinda groggy. Bless her heart. She is such a good little girl and a chip off the ole block of Angelo! Annie is a little Angel! hehehe – The smash burgers were AMAZING! Does anyone else have these in your areas?
Yes, the basset hauling vehicle is hard to beat for hounds and for that matter all dogs. I am not sure howl a 200 pound English Mastiff could fit in many other cars. He does fit in the back seat of my sister and BIL’s duelee pick up. hehehe
OK – Judy we need to pick out our next lunch spot – kinda hard to beat the SMASH…
More Basset Hauling Later…Cat
I never heard of SMASH before but I see there are 3 not to far from my house. I will have to check them out when I am out that way. Glad to hear Annie is doing good!
