Chloe – a cold night retrospective

Howllo Fellow Hound and Retrospective Lovers!

I was just feeling a bit nostalgic when I found Emma all under the blankets tonight. This was my Chloe’s forte! Chloe would burrow under the blankets and fall into a deep sleep. I am so thrilled that I was a prolific picture taker back in 1997. Here is our Chloe!

I called her my……. Clostrama, Young, Drama, Dog! The Doggie Rama!

    She is so cute!! I wish my bassets would do that, but they are hot blooded bassets..LOL! Now, my old chunky 9 year old doxie is king of the blankets here! I don’t know how he does it, but he makes himself into a sausage in his blankets, sometimes getting them around himself a number of times.
    Cat, your little Chloe is a very beautiful girl!

    My Bailey likes to scrunch the blankets all around him like he is making a nest. When it is just the way he likes in – he plops down like a ton of bricks. I never know what part of him will be on top of the covers.

    I am sorry I didn’t get to know Chloe, she is a beautiful girl.

    I agree with all of you, there is nothing better than a Basset to snuggle with on a cold winter’s night. A Basset is much better than an electric blanket, but this warmth comes at a price. I had to get used to Slinky’s snoring.

    Chloe looks beautiful and precious. I completely understand. Been a little over 2 years now, and I *still* miss, love, and rejoice over Penny…every single day!

    Elvis loves to get under the covers and snuggle up behind my legs. Boy does he generate a LOT of heat! Then Coop sleeps on the pillow next to my head. If Georgia can “be bothered” to wake up and come to bed she sleeps on my feet.

    I can’t imagine not having the houndies with me.
