That was really cool. I know exactly what you are talking about. Thank you. I may have never. heard that song again. I forgot all about it. Bassets hounds and Traffic. Very funny. Taylor (now you know my age)
P.S. I had a milky way instead minus the lava lamp. LOL Taylor
I love that I have those memories. My college years rocked. Traffic, Stevie Wonder, Santana, not to mention the Clash thrown in. The list is never ending. I saved every penny I could and when I went to college I spent the entire amount, (3000.00 dollars) and bought a sterio system that blew my entire dorm away. I had the speakers in the back of my VW convertible seat belted in and UK was only 2 hours away! Yee Ha!
I log on to your site every day. I never comment. Now I must. Traffic was a time in my life as well. I cannot believe how much I am loving this. I attented a Traffic concert in 1975 (guessing) The time of my life. I had forgotten all about it with 4 kids, 2 hounds, and an x-husband. Sigh. Thanks alot. I did not have a Snickers bar, but I bought one on the way to softball practice. I laughed the entired time I ate it. It tasted so good.
Hey I wanted to thank you for this. I am a burn out from the 70s. My hound and I watched this 5 times. What you do, keeps us coming back. Riley and Joe the hound. P.S. How do you know?
I cannot believe what I am hearing. My hound is next to me. My life is so different now. I was at a Traffic concert in Chicago in the 70s. This video just made me cry. Thank you Cat. How did you know? It just makes perfect sense. At least for me.
Hi. I also lurk. But I must add my experience. I was at a Traffic concert in LA back in the 70s. It was a huge space. It really was electric. I forgot about it until tonight. Thanks for the memory jolt. David. Oh, by the way, I am passing this blog to my old friends. Thanks
This is just to wierd. I log on every day. I just read all of the posts. How many 70s people are out there? I am laughing and eating a snickers bar! J
I am just here from YouTube. How do basset hounds connect? If you like traffic who cares?
OH!!!! FLASH BACKS!!! Very grovy stuff there!
I’ve never heard of this band… but my mom remembers it. Of course the clash is still in though.
Danielle: Of course the Clash is still in, but they were together when I was in college! That time was really awesome. I loved the 70’s. Cat, Chaps and Emma
