PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION TO STOP DOG ABUSE AND FORWARD!

June 10th, 2007 - 6:06 pm KY Time

Howllo Fellow Hound Lovers: It is rare for me to sway from bassethoundtown.com being a fun and uplifting community for us all. But, there are some dogs on the outskirts of our town, that need our help. They live in Atlanta. We can be a voice for them. It only takes a few clicks of a mouse or making a few phone calls.

The dogs found during the raid and removed were mostly abused, sick, and wounded pit bulls. Devon is the author of this petition and I firmly stand behind her in yet another heroic effort to stand up for dogs. So, let the people in charge of this investigation hear your voice. We can be the voice of the dogs. This practice has to stop.

KICK VICK OUT!

GAME ON BIG MAN. PLEASE PASS THIS PETITION TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW. THESE DOGS DID NOT DESERVE TO BE BULLIED BY THIS JERK FOR HIS AMUSEMENT. HOW SICK.

Click on the picture and see his quote. Was this guy hit in the head too often?
“His brains?” That’s a laugh.

************************************************************

Email from a cross poster. I could not have said it better myself!

Geez, 35 dead dog carcasses and the worst Michael Vick faces is five years in prison?

The guy has so much money he sure didn’t fight dogs for money, must have been “for fun”.

The Atlanta Falcons still allow him to play, please scroll down for info on how to contact the Falcons and let them know what you think.

A truly repulsive excuse for a human being. Too bad the dogs never turned on him.

Tell the Atlanta Falcons what you think about dog killers. I did. scroll down
Things you can do after you sign this petition:

1. Contact the Falcons. Now we REALLY need to step up the complaints about Michael Vick being allowed to continue as a player! Terms like boycott, canceling season tickets, etc… would help.

2. We also need to THANK the US Attorney’s Office for taking over this investigation! If not for him, the dead dogs would not have been found.

That thing that thinks he is a man is a piece of human
filth. He needs to go to Prison and be put in with an animal lover who is a lot bigger than he. Ken

What kind of a person gets enjoyment watching dogs fight to the death? This is one twisted man. Shame on you. Throw away the key – Jessica

I am from Atlanta and I am so angry with this situation. The Falcons better do something quick. This story is heating up all over the internet. I found your site via someone on MySpace. Vick needs full prison time and to be canned from the NFL. Up yours Vick.

Did this basta#& and all of his dog killing friends think they could get away with this? Hello, Falcons, where are you? Show him the door. The iron bars.

Here is an update that will turn your stomach.

    It’s from Devon:

    Hey Cat!

Thanks for blogging that! I almost had a heart attack when I heard about it! Makes me so sick, especially because there is a little blue basset at the ranch named Georgie who was rescued from being pit bait at dog fights. Who the hell are these sickos?

As far as we’re concerned Vick should be publicly hung and if the NFL lets him play, the games will not be on my TV. Some role model he is. He is not worth what I scrape off my shoes some mornings.
Thanks Cat and Devon. It is those like you that give this world hope!

I’m a huge animal lover and am owned by my 2 rescue bassets, Dudley & Minnie. I totally abhor any type of animal abuse, dog fighting makes me sick.
Having said all that, Mike Vick has NOT been convicted of anything. We have the rule of law here in the USA, including “innocent until proven guilty”.
We need to let the judicial process run its course, if and when M. Vick is convicted, I’ll be as loud as anyone in calling for him to go to jail, and for him to never play pro ball again.

  12. July 15th, 2007 | 6:12 pm

That is very well put, Foodslave dad. The problem is, that M. Vick might just be above our judicial process. This has been proven over and over again in courts of law. The rich, famous, and athletic get off faster and easier then others. There are different rules for them, however, I respect your comment and I will be updating this blog as reports come in.

Yours, sincerely, Cat, Chaps and Emma
