Pet owners submitted snapshots of their canine companions at www.cbyp.com. From pugs to poodles, the site received more than 2,000 photographs of Cincinnati’s top dogs. Events were held at the Red Dog Pet Resort & Spa, located at 5081 Madison Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, and at Pet Suites, located at 620 Holly Lane, Erlanger, Ky. More than 85,000 votes were cast during the length of the contest, which ran through midnight, Feb. 28, 2009.

“We are very pleased with the community’s response to the Cincinnati Cover Dog Search. We’re excited to showcase the winning canines on the cover of our companion directories for the first time, and we look forward to next year’s contest,” said Mike Webster, Cincinnati Division Manager.
