Well, today’s show are scenes from last night. The air is cool. I am outside in what we call the ladies room cleaning Emma’s potty area. I left the sliding glass door open so she could get some fresh air. I am sweeping up twigs and I look over and who is standing next to me? Our Soap Star, Emma!
This is not last night, just a picture so you can see what the area looks like….
Standing on all 4 paws and wagging her tail. I held my breath because I was afraid my gasp would knock her over. She decided she had enough and turned right around, took a tinkle, and walked back in to her bed. It was a stagger but she did it all on her own!

That is PAWSOME news!!! Emma truly amazes us with her strenght and detemination!!! She is so brave and we are so proud of our little gal!! Hope Chaps isn’t getting is nose out of wack…I am sure he is getting is share of belly rubs and attention…Bet an extra treat is in order….!! We love you!!!
Way to go Emma! Won’t be long now. Actually, did the doc say about how long it would be before she would be back to normal? I mean, is this too early or is she on schedule? Yeah, poor Chaps. He doesn’t understand the whole thing and I’m sure he just wants everything back to normal. Maybe he won’t have to wait much longer. I know it would be killing me to keep a bonded pair separated but you gotta do what you gotta do.

thats how healing works…you turn around and there it is….way to go emma…you have to love determination…or as you call it “emma’s blind wisdom”…they know what they can do and they know what they have to do..sometimes healing the soul is as important as healing the body.
i would vote for letting the mayor come out to say hi…gently but i think its time…i think the crisis has passed.

turns? I was thinking last night about your wish to host a reality show. Picture this: Cat and Brett Michaels Hounds of Love Bus Tour!!! Emma and Chaps could give Brett’s “ladies” challenges each week and then decide who gets kicked off the bus. It combines three of our favorite things – hound dogs, has-been rock stars and bad TV. Bailey could be the Director cuz he looks good in a beret and always wanted one of those chairs with his name on the back.

What a Girl!!!!! What a Girl our Emma is!!!!! I knew she would be walking in no time. I bet you were just beside yourself to see her standing out there — what a picture. I’m so happy. I hope she continues to do well, give her a big kiss from me and don’t forget my Big Boy Chaps too!!!!! My Auction is tomorrow….I’ll be so glad when it’s over, then Sat. morning we leave for Houston to take Gabe for a meet and greet. I’ll keep you posted.

Candy – I was laughing so hard when I read this. I just pictured the entire show and it was just so funny. Brett Michaels co-staring with the Mayor. He could wear a bandanna and a cowboy hat. Oh it would be too cute!
Chaps and Emma could even howl along to every rose has it’s thorn, or however, that song that he always sings goes. Arhoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
