Sunday morning nappee poo……..
Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Nappee Poo lovers!
Wow, It’s Sunday morning and the road in front of us is still very long. I have to give my Mom and I, A+ for our efforts. I am sure we can keep it up. We still have about 6 more weeks of recovery.
This morning when I woke up this is what I saw. I sleep with my camera on the stand next to me.
Look how cute that rear end is standing up. Who knew those short little legs would be so important in making my day! Then she turned around and this is what I saw.
Mommy, I’m hungry! After breakfast and a physical therapy session it was time for our Emma’s Sunday morning nappee poo………
Grandma got her into bed and made sure she had her blankee.
Mr. Duck made sure she had sweet dreams.
More nappee poo news later……….Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma
Sweet Dreams Emma!
Rest up so you can be ready for your next therapy session! Looks like Emma is doing fantastic. I’m sure the physical therapy will be much easier as she gets better. So hopefully you and grandma will be getting some relief as Emma is able to help out more.
I bet you never saw a sunrise as beautiful as that basset butt!!!!
Enjoy your Sunday, kids.
Happy Sunday!!!
Wow it looks like Emma is doing great!
Cat I agree you and Grandma do get an A+ I have never seen such dedication, it is heart warming.
Hugs
Tina, Beulah and Bogart
Love the photo update. You all are wonderful A+ for sure. I bet your heart over flows when you see the progress little Emma is making. I admire her strength so much.
Hugs and nose kisses from our crew
Even though Our Emma does not need any beauty sleep. She gets more beautiful everyday she gets better.
Thank you Maureen and Slinky. She was a real pistol today. She felt so good and just wanted to run and play but I have to keep her somewhat calm for 6 more weeks. Those 6 weeks will mean a lot for her future. She is such a good girl and loves her therapy. Grandma and I walked her back and forth about 4 times today on a carpeted area. She did great!

Hi Wanda –
Thanks so much for the comments. Are hearts are very full. This morning when we woke up she actually jumped up out of bed and was barking like crazy for her breakfast. Her and Chaps are both on a diet and man o man do they get hungry. Emma gets her stitches out on Friday and I am very anxious to see how much weight she has lost. I bet it is about 2 pounds. Paws crossed!

Hi SK – We are very dedicated and will be for the rest of her live long days. Our girl needs us to protect that back and we are dedicated to doing that. Chaps, probably not so much. I will have to watch him like a hawk!
