OK, this will most likely be the oddest and intriguing blog posting you have ever read. I am calling it,
THE MYSTREY OF THE DIAMOND LIKE OBJECT IN CHAPS POO……….
Yes dear readers you heard me correctly. Now you see why I am saying this will be the oddest blog posting you have ever read!
I was doing my least favorite task. Cleaning up the back yard of all poo poo potty (PPP). I am such a freak that I do this basically after every deposit. I just like to keep it clean for the kids and I got into the habit of it and works for me. Plus, they both seem to appreciate it. Anyway, this information kind of comes into to play.
So, I was cleaning up the normal areas which only Chaps has been in since Emma has been confined to the front Ladies room. Pooper scooper in hand I went to do my maneuver and the sun hit a sparkle. I am totally a sparkle girl so I kind of looked closer. It looked like a diamond type of thing as I got closer. The smell distracted me but not to the point where I ran upstairs and got a baggie.
Armed with my baggie I picked out the diamond type thing. It is a stone. After I washed it off I am thinking it looks too perfect to be real. It has to be a Cubic Zirconia. I was so excited and confused. Where did Chaps find this. It is W A Y too big to be a diamond I might had dropped from the Gold Rush. Plus I am way too careful. Plus who would drop a 3 karet diamond stone plus who would donate a stone like that. OK – Chaps would “donate” it! LOL
Again, I cannot believe it is real. Plus Emma Drew and I are still trying to figure out how this happened. Chaps has been a few places recently. Then again, did I miss a deposit from months ago. Oh Lord, Emma cannot do one step not to mention 99!
Here is another shot. Thank Dog he passed it without a problem. I have looked at it under a loop and I do not see any flaws. That is a sure sign it is not real. However, we can still hope! Can you imagine Chaps helping the Gold Rush in this manner? Pooping diamonds? Well, we might just end up on national TV for that one! LOL!

I am pretty sure it is a CZ but Emma Drew is still on the job. It is kind of like holding a lottery ticket and the numbers have not been called yet. I will take it in on Monday. Emma Drew needs more time to investigate over the weekend.
I told you! This will be the oddest blog you will ever read! Where did he eat this thing? Like Mother like Son. We like the shinny stuff!

Looks very interesting. When I first saw it, I thought of a button. Maybe it was encirled by a metal loop. Or a fancy glass knob pull from an old desk or dresser. Always fun to imagine what it could be and How in the world Chaps found it!

LMAO @ Cat & Chaps!! One time I took Lucille out to poopie and she came back with (most of) a $20 bill in her mouth…remember, a basset is an ASSET you know.
What Chaps won’t do for attention! Maybe he is kind of a basset version of an oyster … had a little irritation in his colon and pooped this out!
WOW…..the mayor is pooping Diamonds!!!!!!! Talk about a stimulas package. One time one of my previous Bassets Jake swalled the connection to my TV and VCR. I needed it back in order for it to work, so I checked the yard, and there it was…..just a little washing and good as new. Can’t wait to hear more about this one!!!!

Kerry (onemom) I know, I have my own basset oyster hound! Money does not grow on trees but if you obtain the rare oyster hound the deposits are priceless…………….I know, it’s lame. hehehehehe

Mary – now that you mention it, the stone does look like an embellishment on a button or maybe a dog collar. They make those very fancy now a days. Maybe he ate it when we were on a walk? It is fun to think about where it came from.

I think Chaps has a bit of “magic” in him. We have all heard of geese that lay golden eggs, and genie’s that come out of lamps and grant wishes. Well Chaps lays or poops diamonds or cubic ziconias.
