Slinky – How are you doing?

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Slinky Lovers! Slinky and Maureen have been residents of BHT for ages! Poor Slinky had a procedure last week to have a rather large cyst removed from her paw. The poor thing hates the cone.
Can you imagine being a hound and having this thing put on your head? I cannot imagine what is going through their minds. Is that a pink cone? I have never seen one of those!
Maureen takes the cone off when she can monitor our Slinky.

Homer sends lots of drool and hugs to his furend Slinky. We all hope she is recovering nicely and will be back to herself real soon. GET WELL SOON SLINKY.

Slinky’s cone was pink, I tried to get her a green cone, because green is her favorite color.
Slinky’s stitches come out tonight, and last Thursday her appetite returned. However she stood firm. Slinky would not eat, drink, lay down, cuddle, give kisses or accept any treats while she had the cone on. Slinky would just cry and whine. I think when I was taking the pictures of her with the cone, she was very confused in this situation.
